Although Breitling is well known for their pilot's watches, they offer a selection of impressive yet simple dive watches. I was fortunate enough to come across the following vintage (1995-2001) Breitling Colt Quartz Dive watch on eBay for a great price (retailed $1800-2200). It hosts a smaller 38mm bead blasted stainless steel screw back case, signed screw down crown, non-reflective sapphire crystal, and unidirectional rotating bezel. The dial is black with bright fluorescent numerals and a quick set date at 3 o'clock. This watch is water resistant up to 1000 feet. The watch movement is the more affordable Breitling 64 caliber ETA 955.612 with date complication. This watch has a comfortable fit and it is a great everyday time piece.

My First Breitling
I am new to the watch collection world, but I am excited about journey thus far. I just purchased my first Breitling (used) and as soon as I put it on my wrist I knew I was in love. I am a proud owner of a Breitling Cronomat stainless steel with 18K gold (Model B13050). It is 40.5mm and has a flawless sapphire crystal, original Breitling stamped leather band, white dial, and an impressive Breitling 13 Automatic Mechanical movement (ETA Valjoux 7750). Complications include the chronograph and date. As an active duty Marine KC-130J pilot, I found it unsatisfactory to not own a quality pilot's watch. This watch retailed around $3500.
